This was my Father's (he was born in 1904) and he told me his mother used it to boil water for their Saturday night baths when he was a boy in New Orleans. This old kettle has been used and it has a great old patina on it, kit is perfectly usable and the inside is clean and free of scale. The black wooden handle is on a folding bail and there is a black wooden knob on the cover. It stands 8 inches tall and is
